WOW LADAKH 2016 SELF DRIVE TRAVEL PLAN

The day I heard about entire journey from Shimla to Ladakh and experience tall pine trees turning small into shrubs and open the corridor to the cold desert of India - Leh - Ladakh; To experience this beauty of land being like local, traveling through their small villages, I decided to explore this land by vehicle!

I started driving for fulfilling this dream one day. I started reading various articles on road trips and I have done small road trips in past as well.Suddenly one day came across an article where in family of 2 adults and 2 children traveled to Paris taking leaves from school and office for almost 4 months. I started telling my friends that my car will go all across the globe and will be driven by me marking myself as a physically challenged selfdrive enthusiast. 

Driving is gift to me from my dearest pappa. His wish for me learning driving was to be independent.

2nd spring of inspiration for driving is my uncle. Now he was talking something that accelerates me. He wants me to take my car to Europe and do self-drive vacation in Europe with him. My reply to him was "We will go all the corners of the world in car.......and journey will begin from Ladakh!"

The man behind helping me realising my dream of driving is Ferdinand Rodricks from Ferro Equip. 

It was just a dream untill I met Kedar Gadikar - founder of Kiteoutdoors Pvt Ltd. He brings in lot of experience in conducting Self-drive leisure tours. His vision of setting trend of Self-drive tours meets my dream of organizing totally offbeat concepts and destinations across the globe.
